Dexton and Kelly went to the same college and had mutual friends but didn't know each other. He was living in Kansas City and she was in town for her last clinical rotation for grad school. Kelly was out with a friend that Dexton knew and he introduced himself after saying hi to her. By the end of the night, they exchanged numbers and the rest is history. Along with many others, 2020 was quite a year. After welcoming their son in October and growing as a couple through the pandemic, Kelly and Dexton decided to get married the following year. Dexton proposed when they visited the wedding venue in May 2021 only a few months before the wedding in July. Now, the first year of marriage has only increased their connection and love.
"When searching for a wedding photographer, I was looking for someone with an eye for small moments, reasonable, and willing to do a variable amount of hours as I was not making a production of the whole day. Madison checked all of those boxes and was very easy to work with. As we are from out of town, she was very flexible in meeting when we were in town. She was very easy to communicate with prior to the wedding day to make sure we would get all the photos we wanted. The weather on the day did not cooperate, but the back up plan ended up being great and the photos were amazing! I would highly recommend working with Madison."
